Student Members" are members who shall be currently attending a full-time course at a recognized and accredited school approved by the T.T.I.A. This class of Membership shall be open to citizens and permanent residents of Trinidad & Tobago and CARICOM nationals. Student Membership
As an architecture student you are studying for a profession governed by ethics and the need to continuously develop yourself professionally throughout your career. At the TTIA, we are working hard to providing our Student Members with crucial advice and information tailored to your needs. Membership is absolutely free and you benefit from access to help and guidance from our administrative office and members of the Executive whenever and wherever possible.
A Student Member must fulfill the following criteria:
be studying RIBA Parts 1 or 2 (including year out) at a RIBA-validated school of architecture anywhere in the world
or you are studying at an AIA-validated, RAIC-validated or RAIA-validated school of architecture
or you are studying on a relevant CAA course, again anywhere in the world.
As a TTIA Student member, you will enjoy the following advantages:

be eligible to vote for any future Student Representatives;
attend special and annual general meetings
contribute to the important work of the TTIA committees by assisting in research etc. (you will always receive written confirmation and reference of your hours worked with the TTIA);

free use of the TTIA's Online Architectural Library and Information Centre (coming soon);

Apply for TTIA Student membership by completing our online application form and sending it via fax or email to our Administrative Office and allow approximately three to four weeks after your application has been received to receive confirmation and start enjoying the many benefits of being a member of our Institute.
